The St. Monica Men's Club is an organization dedicated to the spirit of fellowship and charitable giving. Membership is open to all men of our community. We warmly welcome new members to come and experience new friendships, along with a closer sense of parish community.
We hold regular dinner meetings featuring a social hour, followed by dinner prepared by volunteer members. During football season we enjoy big screen NFL games. Normal meeting will also involve a guest speaker and brief matters of interest pertaining to our group. Throughout the year, Club members participate in activities of charitable giving such as holiday outreach projects, fund raising, blood drives, and the Muffin People (a group dedicated to ministering to the hungry in Oakland). Proceeds from all dinners, raffles, and dues are the Club’s principal source for our annual charitable contributions as we seek to elevate poverty here in the Bay Area.
Meetings are held in the parish Peace Room, typically on the first Monday (second Monday if the first is a holiday) of every month except July, August, and December. Social hour begins at 6:00PM followed by dinner served at 7:00PM. Dinners are generally $10, and a contribution of $30 for the annual dues is collected. Our Men’s Club ministry recesses during the summer months and in December we generally hold a Christmas Celebration. These and other information are published in the parish bulletin.
For more information or if you have any questions about the Men's Club please join us at any dinner meeting or contact the Parish Office below.
