Step 1 - Are You a St. Monica Parishioner?
If you are new to our parish please ensure you are registered and attending Mass here at St. Monica. If you have yet to register, you may do so online at https://stmonicamoraga.com/registration. Faith Formation Registration will only be completed once parish registration has been verified.

Step 2 - Read/Save the Following Documents
If you have not already done so, please download and read our 2023/2024 Faith Formation Handbook and the Diocesan Liability Release Agreement before proceeeding. You will be asked if you have read and agree to these documents in the form below. Classes will take place on Wednesdays from 2:15pm to 3:15pm. Please download the schedule below.

Step 3 - Fill Out the Form Below

Step 4 - Turn in any Necessary Documents
All first-time registrants must provide an original baptismal certificate and proof of First Communion (when applicable). A letter of transfer may be also required (see handbooks). You may drop them by our office or mail them to St. Monica Church, 1001 Camino Pablo, Moraga, CA 94556. Your child will not be fully registered until these forms are received.
If you have completed all the above steps and have turned in all required documents, thank you. Your registration is now complete!

About our Program
We are committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in the Catholic tradition through education and formation, celebrating liturgy and prayer, experiencing community and reaching out in service. Our program offers religious instruction for children in grades kindergarten through fifth. Classes meet once a week for one hour.
The four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church - Creed, Sacraments, Morality, and Prayer- are taught and developed on every grade level every year. Classes include prayer, faith based lessons, stories, games, music, crafts, videos, and all kinds of activities to help children learn about our Catholic faith and how to live it out in daily life.
Our St. Monica Faith Formation program is completely dependent on our volunteer catechists who are willing to share their faith and talents with our children. Please consider teaching a class. We provide training and ongoing support. If teaching is not a possibility, please consider other ways to volunteer. We request that every family help in some capacity.
